19926 posts · Joined 2002. #4 · Nov 15, 2017. I checked a bunch of channels and the signal is either 0 or in the 80s, with a couple of problem channels in the 60s. The signals that are getting the V52 errors say there's no signal lock. I didn't get a chance to check the SNR on the iffy channels.

I have been reading that there isn't such a thing as too high a SNR... I am getting V53 errors on random channels at random times. My signal strength is in the low 90's and my SNR is between 37-40. Tivo is telling me that the SNR is too high, and that I need to have Charter come out and fix...

Call the Comcast support line. When the IVR asks you what to help with, say "Cable Card". You should get transferred directly to level 2, when they answer, say you need Cable Card support. They should then transfer you to the Cable Card dept.
