Mainly an inner office hidden column that we can use to keep track of revisions. As ahmed said, use the coping tool to "cut" a beam perpendicular into another. If you want to miter 2 beams at a corner, simply select one of the beams and right click on the blue dot on the end. You'll see a command for "Edit Beam/Column Join". Select that. I have done pretty well with it over the years and have learned a lot of my own workarounds. Nothing is perfect, so I will continue to use it.
