Oct 15, 2022 · Just an update, as I had this problem on my 2019 Ioniq Electric. However, mine was always black without any signal at all, ever since I bought it. First the head unit (nav/media) was changed as it was found that it was only delivering 6V instead of 12V to the back camera. Then the camera worked, but only intermittently around 30-50% of the time.
