The auto-sliding doors have given trouble with closing from time to time. The rear part of the door would not latch, and the buzzer would sound. Only way to correct would be to manually press in the back of the door to make it latch.So in short when in power sliding door mode passenger door works fine opening and closing. Driver door opens and only closes 3/4 the way then opens back up. When I turn power sliding feature off then neither door will move at all. Car is currently in the garage with the driver side door open and will not close.

If someone modifies the car to have the doors open and close when the shift lever is in any position, and if God forbids something bad happens, and if Honda is sued on the matter, it will be very easy to defend themsleves as they will say that the mod in question was never authorized. 1-Disconnect both battery cables, positive & negative. 2- Touch cables with each other for 60 Secs ( this will take any residual power in the harness to reset the vehicle modules ) 3- Close all doors and trunk. 4- Wait 30 min. 5- Reconnect battery positive first, then negative post.

By using both power switch or manual mode, the door closes but 2 second later, it pops out of its rear latch, causing the door indicator to light up.
