I, on average, spend less than $20 a day on a cruise (not including the $12 service charge). Others spend hundreds. It all depends on each person and what you plan to do while on board. We are a group trying to decide on a cruise for Spring Break (March 16/17-23/24). We have narrowed it down to either Norwegian Joy out of Miami or Norwegian Epic out of Port Canaveral. Both have their pros and cons with the itinerary and dates, but they are honestly very close in price and itinerary.

I think even if you pre-pay, you still need to get that sticker the first time you go to the spa. If you have spa stateroom, it will already say it on your key-card.When you book a sailaway or guaranteed balcony on the Epic, there is a good chance of being assigned a hull (PrivaSea) balcony cabin in the front of the ship. If an enclosed hull balcony does not appeal to you, consider a sailaway mini suite.
