Great school, and crazy great social orgs. it is a huge school so it could be intimidating, however everyone is just so nice and there is a friend group for you. also pretty campus. 3.1. Most of the professors I had seemed to only care about their research and their research grant and did not seem to care if their students succeed. University at Buffalo is an excellent college if you are looking for a big school. Keep in mind since the school is so big, you have to fight for any issue you may have. Sometimes it feels like you are "just a number". Be ready to stick up for yourself! Reputation. All things considered, I have really enjoyed the time that I spent at the University of Calgary over the last couple of years throughout my undergraduate degree. For most of the feedback categories, I have no complaints about the university. However, I will say that many of the facilities around campus are older, and the internet is questionable.

Professor Vishik is brilliant and knows his stuff. He is clearly trying very hard to explain 408D in an understandable way even though it's super easy for him. Grading was made up of 3 easy tests, each worth 100 points, and cumulative HW grade worth 20 points. Lowest test is dropped. 200 points or higher is an A. Lectures are good. BC Calc helps.1.0. The professors and faculty are great, there is continual improvement in student experience and it is an overall good environment. This school is great. I is very unique, and is what you make of it. Lastly, all this information at the end of the day is arbitrary. A student's personal learning style, topic interest, study habits, and other miscellaneous preferences will usually determine whether or not they like a professor. I happened to like a professor with a 1.3 rating on RMP, but it's easy to see the average response is not favorable.

The professors are okay, but be super careful with who you choose, otherwise you’ll find yourself spending a lot of time teaching yourself. It is safe here but there’s not much to do.
