Knocking sound in dashboard impala.

Pulled on the stem and a hole leaf came out. Took it for a spin and the noise is gone! Guess the wind would make the leaf rattle, and the noise was coming through the air vents so it sounded like it was inside the car. Just glad I found it before I pulled the dash apart. This happens when you unlock the car with the key fob or open the car door. If it is on the right side, then you can access it right behind the glove box and replace it.
