For an unoptimized experience, Darkest Dungeon 2 actually runs a lot better than I expected. I did have to force the game to Proton 8.0-2 to run, but the menus, inn, events, and combat all run extremely well, ranging from 40-50 FPS at native resolution and highest settings.

Can't install mods manually. I guess that the title says it all. I was about to add some mods (mostly, skins and a pair of those new decent done classes) but... hell, they don't appear in the in-game menu. Hi everyone. Iām playing DD on my Steam Deck with about a dozen mods through the workshop. For the most part itās been fine, but I get irregular crashes at the embark / mission select screen.
