A little late to the party but Firefly-iii is a superb tool (and its free!) that's fairly similar to YNAB. I used YNAB all the time prior to the price increase and then looked for a new platform and this is incredible. With YNAB4 + Dropbox, the software could break, but you'd still have your data stored at Dropbox, a third, unrelated service that is unaffected by any problems YNAB could have. And besides, the YNAB4 apps have been pretty reliable. Adding a web hosted app does nothing to increase its reliability.
