I modified an ATI stock for mine so I could have a VFG on it. The factory folders are unobtainable and are bringing $400 and up right now! So, I shoot mine mostly with the aftermarket stock on it. Feb 1, 2012 · 1,223. Feb 1, 2012. #2. 90% of the AC-556 is just a Mini-14, when you compare a full wood stock model with 18.5 inch barrel (AC-556) and a Mini-14. Trigger group and selector/switch are basically the only things different. The wood stock is different BUT any mini stock can be milled out for the AC, so I wont count that.
