The revolution bar is there to cast abilities. Abilities do not consume runes so u your runes won't be used up quickly, but be aware that there are moments where you use an auto attack and that will cost u runes.

Another important factor is price, dark ice swords are consirably cheaper than drygores. T85 only work on low tier slayer monster. Use T90 you can still splash at living wyvern, airut. If you don't use stab weapon, you splash at mammoth. Drygore rapier (or khop) + ice sword off-hand is better then t85.
