Jul 15, 2015 · The DCT Tranny Is pretty solid. For working on those units for almost 8 years I have had only angle sensor failures. Since then Honda has changed how the seal and are way better and cheaper to replace if there is any problems.

The 2017 are said to shift smoother with new shift points. Takes a few miles to break them in after that smother as butter. The low range comes in handy for plowing or going down steep hills the engine braking is the same as foot shift model. There is an 8mm shaft coming out of the front of the motor, goes through the shift motor gear assembly. Put a 8mm wrench or socket on it and try to shift it up and down. If that works than your problems are electric. If that doesn't work than you have a mecanical problem.
