96 posts · Joined 2013. #12 · Jul 5, 2018. I was not able to get a OEM camera to work in my 2014 base W/T with the io3 radio. But I did install a Kenwood double din radio in it. I bought an OEM tailgate handle with the camera hole in it on ebay. I purchased a chinese made backup camera on ebay and mounted it in the OEM tailgate handle.
On the Audio screen, press the Tune button to tune into a radio station directly, then enter the radio station source. Adjust the Volume by turning the Volume knob or pressing the + or - buttons on the back of the steering wheel. Mute the audio with the On/Off audio-power button. Because it is sometimes an intermittent issue and sometimes a permanent issue, a visual inspection will be the only way. You'll have to take a speaker out and look at the silver wire that goes from the connector to the cone. If there is any corrosion or partial breaks in it, there is your issue.Audio volume issues. There’s a wire between the two prongs. If the connecting filament is damaged, power can’t reach the head unit, and the fuse needs to be replaced. A better way to verify a fuse is functioning is to use a test light.

Not a whole lot of tricks, maybe try pulling the fuse and resetting it. If the laser is bad you pretty much need a new player. There are some tricks for cds that get stuck and other mechanical things like that, but I don't know of any for the laser itself besides cleaning. These mirrors are not serviceable as far as I know. The good news is, if your mirror is shot, you should be able to find a nice replacement on ebay for, maybe $30-50 dollars.James B. (Unless when I bought a new one it was bad as well !!!) During the night the dimmer works fine. I can brighten the lights and dim them with the control knob.
