Steve Martin is miscast and makes fun of mentally and physically disabled people, but the movie is still funny. Kids younger than 9 probably won't get the concept of con artists and if I recall, there are one or two swear words. However, it is still a very funny movie, but probably not for below 9. The main characters also obviously drink liquor.
