Truthear hexa vs zero red.

Both the Truthear Zero & Hexa are excellent IEMs. A strong case could be made to purchase both, then quickly exit the hobby. The Hexa sounds slightly more neutral, whereas the Zero has a really fun sound. If I had to pick one, I’d struggle. I probably prefer the sound of the Zero more, but I prefer the build and fit of the Hexa. TLDR: Buy it.

Truthear hexa vs zero red. Things To Know About Truthear hexa vs zero red.

The Truthear Zero Red is reasonably efficient so it doesn’t require additional amplification but I did find myself nudging the volume up a bit higher than usual. This is especially true when using the included impedance adapter. Tuning-wise, Zero Red is fairly neutral with a sub-bass boost. It’s got clear mids and an inoffensive treble tuning.Truthear Red Vs Hexa. Headphones - IEM/Earbud. I’ve been read all the rave reviews of the Truthear Reds, and am wondering if it makes sense to get the Reds or the Hexa’s. I listen to some Jazz, vocals, Classic rock and some pop and hip hop. With Headphones, I have a pair of Focal‘s and DCA Aeon Noire. With speakers I use Dirac for EQ with ...Details, bass, sound seperation, treble smoothness, clarity the list goes on. The HEXA is just a great IEM. Similar sound signature to the zero. Better resolution, details, soundstage, bass and treble quality, separation, technicalities etc. Basically better zero while remaining the sound signature. As someone who owns both and …The bass on the Zero is slightly cleaner and more separated (and punchy) since the IEM sounds less warm overall. I’d say it’s slightly better in that area. However, the Aria is the much better set otherwise, both the mids and the treble sound much cleaner and natural (in my opinion). This lack of bass and higher clarity in the upper mids also contributes to a more "open" stage with the Zero. Elements in the mix feel more distinct and spread out. However, I feel that the Variations was superior in some tracks where the 3.5k - 7k area caused some sibilance and harshness with the Zero.

Like its predecessor, it is an unqualified recommendation at its asking price. However, the IEM market has continued to progress in the year since the original Zero was released, and the Zero: Red is less revolutionary now than it might have been if released earlier. I believe the 7hz sonus is a better alternative than the hexa for beginners, more palatable vocals, slightly better mid bass and slightly lower layering techs. The Qudelix is perfect for adding some bass to the Hexa so that's an overall better IEM then. Zero Red doesn't fit every ear nor does Hexa, but it's easier. Moving upwards, the Zero adheres more closely to the Harman in-ear target. To me, the target has slightly too much presence in the 3-4kHz region for my HRTF, begetting a sense of forwardness to female vocals. Female vocals on the Zero are likewise slightly too shouty, too raspy for my tastes (and yes, the lack of upper …Just got the Crinacle Truthear Zero. I like it more than my Blessing 2. Objectively, the Harman tuning is excellent, with only a few minor issues. Subjectively, they "feel" more open and the vocals less colored than the B2 from the slight lower mids/high bass bloat that the B2 have. I definitely have grown to love the Harman Target.

Red has a more 'detached' bass, which makes it sound more distinct and subwoofer-y. At high volumes, you'll get pretty kickass punch and the treble is generally in control throughout. I would say it is a solid IEM, but it'll give a very different feel than QKZxHBB. Cadenza is more traditional smooth bass, a closer signature to the QKZxHBB. This lack of bass and higher clarity in the upper mids also contributes to a more "open" stage with the Zero. Elements in the mix feel more distinct and spread out.
