My 2006 ford fusion won't start. When I turn the key all the lights on my dash and center console blink, and make sort of a clicking noise, but no noise from the engine compartment. All the lights work, the radio works, etc., so I don't think my battery is dead. Answered in 2 minutes by:

The escape does not have push button start. So Bought a blank 4 button Ford key front Ebay. Then had a locksmith cut the key but not program it. Took it to Ford and they programmed the key and disabled Mykey. Everything works great and was way cheaper than getting it from Ford.
