If you have a UHD that MakeMKV can't decrypt and the dump for the disc has been submitted, every few days, stick it in your drive and attempt to rip it with MakeMKV.
After MakeMKV launches, on the right hand side there's a bunch of drive, LibreDrive, and disc information. If LibreDrive is supported, in the LibreDrive section it'll say Status: Enabled. Follow the 'doesn't work' link in my previous post to see an example screenshot (although, for that user it was not supported). You also need the specific keys to fully decrypt the disc. Copying the file and renaming it allows VLC to read AACS encrypted discs, but does not provide the keys for full decryption. These come from MakeMKV. So starting MakeMKV hands off the keys to decrypt the bluray, then VLC has now has the spec requirements to read the unencrypted disc.
Enter a "new" password (twice) and then you should be able to log in. When you've logged in, you should be able to find the license key. This is a screen capture from last December, but the interface still looks the same. This is a link to a similar post over the weekend.
