Jay Siemens has a great comparison video between the Livescope, Active Target and the Mega Live and is definitely worth watching the whole video if youre looking at which one to buy. The Active Target is a little better at a distance, like 80-100 feet but as a whole, especially with the new Livescope Plus, i think Garmin is still quite a ways ahead.

I bought an Active Target because I already had the Lowrance graph. I use mine for striper fishing (deadsticking right now) and white bass. Only have had it out a couple times but like it as good or better than the Live Scope the guide had. The picture below has the double fluke setup circled in red.
