Litter robot 3 not connecting to wifi.

We had the same issue on initial setup. Ended up having to connect my phone to my husband’s hotspot on his phone and doing a firmware update. Then we were able to connect it to the WiFi. Seems to be a common issue with these types of devices these days. I have had this happen on occasion. For me, rebooting the router always works. I think it has something to do with the ip addresses being assigned to different devices on the network. My shark robot vac does the same thing.
