It will close almost all the way and then it stops and reopens, but if you push on the door slightly while it's closing it will close all the way. It just seems to need a little help.

WAIT. The 400ma drain is supposed to be caused by sticking/failed microswitches in the door latch assembly. This is the stuff on the aft part of the door that draws it closed and latches it to the chassis of the car. It's a big assembly with several motors and two cables running out of it. It's expensive new.

Could be as simple as a blown fuse. Rather than throwing parts at the problem, best to investigate what the cause is. Common issue with the doors are broken roller assembly. Can buy a new roller for about $30, or repair the rollers for about $5. The $5 fix for the 2nd gen worked on my brother's '07.

I'm assuming that your side rollers are in good shape.
