It looks like the trick had changed. I took NCLEX-RN yesterday, got cut off at 85q. In 3 hrs tried the PVT. Regardless the correct vs incorrect CVV and exp. date the website will refer you to you bank to send a confirmation text. I got a "good" pop-up with correct CVV and exp. date. and vague and "bad-looking" pop-up with wrong info.after your exam you will receive an email that you have successfully completed the test. since the quick result will be available after 48 hours, you can check your results initially right after taking the exam. but there’s a catch. they say good pop up is accurate, it means u passed. as for the bad pop up, it’s 50/50. Based on the way I did the PVT ( 3 hours after my exam) it was not accurate- so maybe it was a fluke for me, or maybe it doesn't work anymore. Either way, to me it wasn't worth it. Yes, it usually means you passed. I failed my first attempted and put in my card info 1 hour after exam. It took my payment and literally scheduled an appointment that day. The trick worked for me but in the bad way. I got my results emailed to me the next day. I did fail.

Took the NCLEX yesterday, cut off at 85 and got the good pop up. I didn’t think it was too bad. Most of my questions were stand alone and only a handful of SATA. The case studies were all straight forward and not too difficult. Since the test was on a Saturday I don’t expect the quick results until Monday.

Yes. It does work. If your attempt to reregister results in a popup saying "You have recently registered for this exam," then you passed. AFAICT this is always accurate, and I've been paying attention to it for years. (Secret software behavior is interesting to me because I used to develop similar things for a living.)Not sure how accurate the pop up is though.
