May 1, 2016 · I posted this message a few months back, and thought it might be useful for future test takers. I did the following in preparation for the exam. Uworld qbank x 2: 66%, 90%. Mksap qbank 17 x 1: 73%. Medstudy questions: 80%, but only did 25% of q's. Did over 2500 questions in total. Safely passed with 1 s.d. above mean. When studying for my boards a couple years ago I did both the mksap and UWorld question banks. MKSAP tested on so much useless knowledge that was way beyond the scope of IM (sooo much detailed chemo regimens). UWorld on the other hand was very high yield. If you are someone who really absorbs content through reading and were looking forward to the MKSAP books, you might be a bit disappointed to know that, as of now, no book accompanies the UWorld ABIM Qbank. However, reading content does not fit everyone’s study style.

I am now running through UWorld (about 60% but only 13% of the questions done).
