New batteries can be bad or go bad, especially if they sit unused for an extended period of time.It had some starting/idling issues. It was a 92 Dakota 3.9 v6 with 168k miles on it. Found out later that some wires under the throttle thing were shorting and thusly causing it to not idle/ stay running on cooler days. It was a good truck. All power is on when I press the start button, it's like it doesn't have full power when trying to turn on. It makes noises like its trying to connect and then it does. There are currently 9 problems areas reported by 2021 Dodge Durango in a total of 16 complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
