I've done the reset from the soundblaster command software. I've kept pushed Mic and Mode buttons until all leds blinked red to force the hard reset. I've tested it on several PCs. Audio works, Line in works. But Mic does not work. Of course I've tried with many mics that work perfectly on other devices, but not on this X3 now.

CS will use the mic that is set as default device and default communication in Windows Sound Panel, steam audio settings has nothing to do with it. Make sure your mic is setup correctly in Windows Sound Panel.
