These prices are insane…don’t get me wrong there is some labor involved but $700+ to pull the fairly easily accessible valve covers is crazy. Figure ~4hrs tops to do this if you’re taking your time. I could probably do it in two hours as I’ve done a couple Honda valve jobs.

It's not unusual to get +/-5% but when you get to 10%, it usually means there's something fishy going on. I'm guessing that the air/fuel ratio is still off due to injectors or valves. I should have kept track of the injectors and put the front to the back and vice versa to see if the problem switched cylinder banks.

Meanwhile exhaust valves tend to stretch faster than there's wear, so get quieter before they get noisier. Until they start to burn, and at the same time risk cam damage. Often dealers have TB specials for $600-$700 or a bit less. The valve adjustment is a PITA but $450 is too much.

Both lobes are on the heel and a few degrees either way won't make any difference, and beside, if you just line it up in the center of the hole it will be right on anyway.
