I've owned and shot G30s since the model was introduced and except for a brief flurry when the SF first came out, the G30 works for the vast majority of owners. I even had one that functioned 100% with lead SWCs. ... Maybe the polymer tip is not the best choice. Either version of the G30 are heavier and thicker than your G19. The trade compared to the G36 is that your get 10+1 rounds for a noticeable increase in bulk and weight with less felt recoil.BZ3. The 30s holds 10+1 and is a double stacked magazine while the G36 holds 6+1 due to being single stacked. The G30S slide is the same thickness as the G36 but has the frame of a G30SF. The Glock 30 is not a perfect handgun. The sights are a bit underwhelming, and the subcompact build might not work best for everyone.
