The management system checks voltage with the engine running and if the voltage is under the set voltage the. system will let you know , Most likely a voltage regulator malfunction have the alternator tested and repaired or replaced. Look on corvetteforum for some clues and diagnostic steps. It's almost always the battery. I replaced mine and lots of weird lights and behaviors went away. Traction control, ABS, odd fast/slow cranking. I even replaced the crankshaft position sensor and maybe didn't have to. C6's eat batteries.Relay Fault. Power down stairlift, wait 5 minutes and power on, or call Stairlift Medics. F2. Fault. Brake Fault <18V. Power off/on stairlift to reset. Drive stairlift to charge point for 1 hour; or call Stairlift Medics. F3.The alternator wires lay across the alternator bracket and one of them had worn through and was arcing on the bracket. When the wire made contact with the bracket it would send the service charging system message. I only had about 4000 miles on the Vette when the problem started. I replaced the worn wire and placed both alternator wires in a loom.

A common issue with the Corvette is the cable connector (the part on the cable that connects to the battery) that corrodes seriously if you don't put grease on it. I had the issue after 4 years and had to change the connector. This results in many issues including inability to charge the battery.
