In Project Zomboid, you can destroy both pre-built and self-constructed stairs by right-clicking on them and selecting “Destroy” as long as you have the Sledgehammer in your inventory or enable Debug mode. Additionally, you can use the Disassemble button to dismantle the stairs, but this option is only available for self-built stairs.Can confirm, sledgehammer, generator manual, and floor jacks seem to be unicorns in my game as well. 3 months in game and only found 1 floor jack, 0 generator manual, 0 sledgehammer after looting pretty much all of muldraugh. The roller doors at the storage places/warehouses must be broken with a sledgehammer (right click>destroy industry). Normal doors (front doors, back doors, bedroom doors, bathroom doors) can all be broken with anything, it just takes longer depending on what you're using.
