We had a very pleasant 11 nights at the Hilton Waikiki Village Resort that generally lived up to expectations, especially the location, beach (perfect for a 3 year-old and adults) and weather with one or two negatives. The Hilton not centrally located but it is on the quiet end of Waikiki. It is very nice with a large beach, numerous eating options in all price ranges, dozens of shops and kiosks so you can have a great time right at the resort. The busy part of the beach is about a 20 minute walk but there are taxi's all over the place.
