You MUST open up the motor and remove the inner governor. It is VERY easy to do. The reason you must is there is a PLASTIC gear inside that controls the governor.The ghost is better than the 224. The 224 is still a Honda clone at now just 6.6hp. But it's point is that it has slightly more torque than a 196cc Honda clone. Because say a Coleman Hisun engine which is a 6.5hp just like the 212, but it has slightly more torque than the 212.The 40 series is designed for engines that can produce enough torque to compress the load discs. The 212 does not provide that so the 40 series would feel super sluggish on it. The 30 series will be far more responsive and will actually fit the 212 physically. It's a 212 ghost 15hp 6000rpm.The top rotational speed you can expect from a Stage 1 Predator 212 is 5500 RPM. The speed is limited to 5500 due to valve float caused by the stock valve springs. The stock flywheel and rod that comes with Predator 212 will most likely be able to handle 5500 rpm.
