I have a 2012 750 kq and all that switch does on my 4 wheeler is light up the rear tail light and we haven't messed with it all. You never have to pull the brake lever to start it. I’ve always used Suzuki fluids. Though that’s just my personal preference. You can use other brands of oils as long as they meet those requirements. As for the front diff, I believe it uses a 80/90 hypoid gear oil.
